Wow these people sound so nice.

Problems?

They are completely unaccountable.

It's as if history does not matter to these people they ignore it. "power corrupts and all power corrupts absolutely". Now anyone with half a brain knows that- but oh no the Financial Ombudsman knows better.

They boast it is they who have the only say.

They who make judgements.

The public have the right to go to court.

Any business or one man band who is in front of them have no right to go to court-they must abide by their decision.

ok that may sound bad, but it gets worse.

the daily telegraph recently highlighted their adjudicators training- and guess what? It's a one day induction course! No previous qualifications required. So if you are a failed megalomaniac, power crazed, control freak- your in luck! Get onto their web site and apply - brains not required.

Making laws retrospective is nothing to them. If it was Ok todo something in the 80's, or 90's etc... and if they got out of the wrong side of the bed that morning and your case is in front of them- HARD LUCK MATE.

Have a look on their site and see the 'meeting the adjudicators page'- one of the woman even boasts about how much power she has.
